Two U.S. national Thanksgiving turkeys arrived at a luxury hotel in Washington, D.C., November 22, 2020.
Named ‘Corn’ and ‘Cob’, the two turkeys were raised by Iowa turkey farmers. The birds will be pardoned ahead of this year’s Thanksgiving by U.S. President Donald Trump in a ceremony at the White House. The presentation of a turkey to the White House began in 1947, though it wasn’t until 1989 that the tradition of pardoning the birds was implemented. Copied from CCNG channels
