Revalidation: APC runs out of cards in Katsina
A few days after commencement of the All Progressives Congress(APC) revalidation exercise, which is expected to round off in Katsina state by February ending, the party has been hit with the scarcity of membership cards in some parts of Katsina state
The Secretary to the Government of Katsina State, SGS, Mustapha Mohammad Inuwa, who noted a scarcity of APC cards while revalidating his membership at Angwan Madi B, Danmusa Ward A of Danmusa Local Government Area of Katsina State, was however strongly assured of efforts to restock the cards from Abuja
He predicted the party is poised to clinch the 2023 general elections.
He said:“I’m happy that even before I came, I understood a lot of people came out to register, and they even exhausted the membership cards that were brought from Abuja.
Inuwa further maintained considering the large turnout of people to revalidate their APC memberships and new members lining up to register, the people believe in the laudable achievements of the APC- led governments.
He also took on critics of the ongoing nationwide APC revalidation, saying despite the opinion and criticisms of these ‘’ vocal minorities’’, the party is waxing stronger in Katsina and Nigeria.
He said: “Insha Allah, APC will continue to be in government. You can see despite all oppositions by those opposed to the exercise, especially those in Abuja, people from the rural and urban cities are really with APC.”
“It is very clear that APC is still grounded with the people and the people are with APC”
“The people came out en-mass especially women and youths because they believe that there is no government since 1999 to date that has demonstrated greater interest in their development”.
