Since when a police officer in Katsina gunned down a 9 old boy named Jawwad Yusuf and injured three other teenagers, on Sunday,1/1/2023,the Human Rights Network, the coalition of CSOs in Katsina state , the national human rights commission, Katsina state and some media outfits have waded into the matter with a view to ensure justice is takes its course.
Even today these organizations have visited the area where the unfortunate incident occurred and interviewed many eyewitnesses to the crime.
In an interview granted to Newsmen, the coalition of CSOs in Katsina chairman, coalition of CSOs in Katsina state,AbdurRahman Abdullahi Dutsinma and Ibrahim Bello of National Human Rights commission have vowed to follow the matter to conclusion.
They also visited the Police Headquarters,in Katsina where they interacted with the Commissioner of Police to find out what the command is doing over the case.
Now all eyes are on the CSOs to see the kind of role it will play in respect of this issue.
