KATSINA – The Katsina state executive members of the New Nigeria People’s Party NNPP, has endorsed the Gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC, Dr Dikko Umar Radda in the coming elections.
Speaking at the endorsement ceremony held in Katsina on Thursday, Engineer Muntaqa Rabe Darma, the state NNPP deputy Governorship candidate said the party executives took the decision for the development of the state.
He maintained that, the state was in dire need of someone with the capacity and the party decided to throw it’s weight behind the candidate of the APC.
“Dr Dikko Umar Radda has the capacity, the qualifications and experience to move the state out of the woods to attain it’s goals”, he said.
He therefore called on the party stalwarts and faithfuls to rally support for the APC Governorship candidate to enable him build on the success of the Masari’s administration in the state.
Dr Dikko Umar Radda, the APC Governorship candidate in his response, expressed appreciation to the NNPP for their support in the realization of his ambition.
Radda however promised to carry everyone along if given the opportunity to become the Governor in the forthcoming elections in the state.
He also enjoined them to work hard to ensure that the electorates come out enmasse to cast their votes for the success of all party candidates in the state.
