The Katsina State House of Assembly has received the audited report of the account of the state government for the year 2021.
The document contains all the expenditures and financial dealings incurred by the state government from January to December last year.
Alhaji Anas Tukur, the state Auditor-General shortly before presenting the report to the house, said the report was in line with the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended and the State Audit Law.
Tukur revealed that the report also contained some of the problems encountered during the year under review for necessary action.
He however commended the executive and legislative arms of government for the continued in actualizing the final document which has enabled the people to benefit from the dividends of democracy.
Hon. Ibrahim Umar Dikko, the Deputy Leader of the house after prolonged deliberations however seek for the permission of the house to allow the Auditor General to lay the report.
