The Coalition of Katsina State PDP Support Groups, today at the Katsina State PDP Quarter’s Mosque held the annual Prayer Session and Qur’anic Recitation in rememberance of the former President, late Malam Umaru Musa Yar’adua.
In his words, the representative of the Chairman PDP State Caretaker Committe PS Lawal Rufai Safana, the prayer was necessary because of the landslide achievements of late President Yar’Adua that set a precedence for a robust economy, unity and stability of Nigeria. Thus, Nigerians would never forget Yar’adua because of his immense contributions to the development of the country.
Also speaking, the PDP State acting Publicity Secretary and Director General of the support groups Hon. Hamza Yunusa Jibia described Late Yar’adua as a father, a role model, transparent and visionary leader, that should be emulated by the current crops of Nigerian leaders as well as the next generation leaders.
The prayer session was led by Sheikh Malam Mani Gambarawa who prayed for the soul of the Late Malam Umaru Yar’adua to continue resting in Jannatul Firdaus.
